Aaron was diagnosed with Medulla Blastoma, a form of brain cancer in Nov. 1999.  He had surgery to relieve pressure on the brain and then started chemo and radiation treatment in Dec.  In July 2000 he had a relapse and the treatment stopped.  In August a different chemo treatment started.

Aaron likes to participate in B.A.S.E. camp (Believe Achieve Support Educate).  They go on quarterly trips to local area places to get together and spend a weekend with other children with cancer.  You can find out more about B.A.S.E. at their website.

The American Cancer Society has a support group for kids called R.O.C.K. camp (Reach Out to Cancer Kids).  It provides children with cancer the opportunity to forget how their illness makes them feel "Different," allowing them to enjoy being a kid.

Aaron became a Boy Scout in September with his twin brothers.  He is currently at a Scout rank and is working toward being a Tenderfoot by February 2001
